Island Players Theatre
If you are in town while the Island Players are in session, take in a fantastic “home grown” play.
Usually the Island Players have 5 different shows that go on from middle of October to the middle of May. They claim to be “the best little playhouse in Florida” and I know most who have taken in a play would agree. TICKETS - Single tickets are $15. Season tickets for the 5 plays is $65, a savings of $10, available until September 15th. Season tickets assure a seat even when the performance is sold out. BOX OFFICE Located at 10009 Gulf Drive, Anna Maria, Florida (Gulf Drive and Pine Avenue). Open 10 days before opening night, Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM. And on performance nights, one hour before curtain - 7 PM, on Sunday matinee 1 PM. PERFORMANCES - Evenings at 8 PM, Sunday matinees at 2 PM, "DARK" on Mondays. SPECIAL PERFORMANCES - We usually schedule at least one special performance a year. They are not included as part of the season tickets. Open seating, seat numbers are not assigned, first come....
