Don’t miss seeing the boat shop where historic vessels are restored and recreated. The Florida Maritime Museum at Cortez is a joint project of the Florida Institute for Saltwater Heritage (FISH), the Cortez Village Historical Society, the Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court, and the Manatee County Board of County Commission.
